How to get into reading?

I was the same way in high school but I read Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen and realized the classics are not difficult to understand at all! Maybe try Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde? Haven't read it but it's on my must read list. I don't read too many classic thrillers. Mostly romance or drama.
